About me

Hi, my name is Lynda. I'm a Psychology doctoral student interested in investigating ways to promote academic achievement and motivation, particularly in minority youth. In another line of research, I also examine how culture gets into our brain and influences our emotions, perceptions, and interactions with others. I use Psychological insights, statistical methods, and data science techniques to explore some of these questions.
